Lincoln Harbottle

It was at the age of seven when TinCat founder Lincoln Harbottle designed his first board game. From there, his dream of making toys for a living took hold. More than just a childhood fantasy, Lincoln was obsessed with the creation of playthings; using building blocks, LEGO, craft wares and anything not tied down around the house to fuel his inventions. His passion knew no bounds.

At the age of 17, Lincoln was a foundation staff member in the first Toys ‘R’ Us store in Australia. He has since worked in toy buying, distribution, development, manufacturing and sales for companies including Funtastic, Moose and TPF Toys.

Lincoln developed licensed toys for leading brands such as Disney, Thomas and Friends, DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and The Simpsons.

For over 30 years Lincoln has helped bring toys and fun to children all over the world. His passion for the ‘wonders of innovation’ still burns bright and he believes strongly in the magic and value of play for all ages. Now based in Hong Kong, Lincoln and his team are ‘on-the-ground’ to pursue this goal further.
